Keeping Cool without Losing your Edge
A Parenting Group for Men
Do you sometimes feel like you’re walking on eggshells in your own home? Parenting today’s children and teens can be extremely challenging. Kids are dealing with overpacked schedules, social media, big emotions, and intense pressure to succeed in a divisive world where cynicism looms large. If you find yourself feeling confused or alienated by your child’s unpredictable moods, you are not alone and this group is for you!
We will focus on how to build a better relationship with your child/teen through effective communication and understanding, while also maintaining our own sanity! This group will be built around the specific needs of fathers, and YOU will be able to shape what we work on and discuss. There will be a focus on helping dads to feel confident in how to respond to difficult situations including uncommunicative teens, emotional breakdowns, and power struggles, to name a few.
