Teens Support Group & Therapy

Group is currently on hold.

This interpersonal process group offers peer support and provides members with a safe supportive space to:

  • Work on building social and emotional skills including skills around conflict resolution.
  • Problem solving
  • Emotional identification, regulation and expression
  • Connect with peers who experience similar challenges.

What time are the sessions?
Wednesdays 7:00pm

Currently Online (link sent prior to session)

Who is it open to?
Teens aged 13-17 (who have started High School)

Cost
Copay/Coinsurance as determined by a client’s insurance, or $45 per week without using insurance

After filling out your application expressing interest, we will be in contact with you to help decide if the group is right for you.
Before beginning the group, approved participants will be given consent and payment authorization forms to fill out.

Group Leader

Christina Pallotta is a compassionate, dedicated, Licensed Social Worker with a vast knowledge of human behavior, wellness and mental health. A Certified Health and Nutrition specialist, Ms. Pallotta spent many years in the field of nutrition and holistic health. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons University in Massachusetts, and has since worked in a variety of community mental health and elementary school settings. She currently treats children and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, and parenting issues. Christina utilizes psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy and solution focused therapy techniques in her work with clients. She uses a client-centered and collaborative approach in order to create a safe and welcoming space for clients to explore any and all of their experiences.
